Rather have VoiceAlert than a Door!
This isn’t a dramatic story, but I really think it tells the story of your fantastic product: The house I rent doesn’t have any wall, gate or barrier allowing anyone to walk off the street straight up to my front door; so a month ago I put in a Voice Alert and immediately realized I was much more relaxed and sleeping much better.
This past Sunday morning I went to the front door and discovered that I had forgotten to lock it the night before – and when I opened it, I discovered that I’d left the security gate wide open; anyone could have walked in. Where in the past, I would have been shocked and very angry with myself, because I had the VoiceAlert on all night, I really felt only mildly irritated.
By coincidence, 24 hours later, the complete opposite happened: On Monday morning I woke up and realized I’d turned VoiceAlert off the previous evening and had forgotten to turn it back on. Though I’d remembered to lock the door and security gate; leaving the VoiceAlert off overnight made me very angry with myself – when I’d left my door open all night I was only mildly upset. I realized then what a fantastic product this is and how reliant I’ve become on it! Well done and thank you for developing it.
Of course – I don’t want to make either mistake again, but my whole point is that I’d rather sleep with my front door wide open (and have VoiceAlert active) than have VoiceAlert de-activated and lock my doors/security gate: That is a hell of a product endorsement.
When I ask myself “Why?” I feel this way; it’s because doors and security gates aren’t barriers to criminals – every day hundreds of criminals get past locked doors and attack sleeping (and relaxing) residents – but knowing that someone is on the property gives me the best defence possible.
I feel like a stuck record – but thank you for such a wonderful “sleep aide”!
