Wired vs Wireless – Introducing Solar & Fully Managed RF Innovations

• Wired alarms great if you can easily run wire power to sensors and then wire the signal back to the panel  (WirelessAlert carries wired versions of all our wireless products)

• However: Wireless requires two facilities:
• Power: Either you need to wire power to sensors (are they then truly ‘wireless’?), or rely on batteries – Now WirelessAlert offers you the first solar powered range.
• Signal: To get a trigger signal to the alarm panel you use a radio pulse (RF) – WirelessAlert now offers 4-billion channel rolling code with ‘heartbeat’ – constant status dialogue between the panel and sensors; making the link as good as and superior to any wired system.

WirelessAlert’s product range is comprised of individual components, each designed to work independently but in conjunction but with other components.

If you wish to connect one of our components to an existing or preferred alarm installation from another supplier; no problem – this is easy to do.

This modular approach allows you to fully customize a security solution that is ideal for you needs, at that moment in time. Then, as your needs and budget dictate; being wireless; you can simply add or reconfigure additional components to meet your new needs.

With this ‘mix-&-match’ structure in mind, our Products section is categorized into the four basic component types:

1. Detectors are available in different types, engineered to do different jobs – Perimeter Beams, Passive Infra-Red, Door/Window contacts, smoke detectors, etc.  When sensors detect an intruder, they communicate via either Radio (wireless) or via wires to a base unit – which in turn take the necessary action. WirelessAlert specializes in wireless detectors (and receivers)
2. Receivers/Hubs/Alarm Panels: WirelessAlert’s security hubs offer you a variety of different ways to warn you of intruders – via spoken (pre recorded) voice warnings, or via Sms/Text messages to your cell phone.  Of course, all of our panels will also trigger armed response, sirens and floodlights.
3. Peripherals: We offer an extensive range of components that are designed to support your detectors and hubs - providing them with uninterupted or solar power, extending their RF (wireless) range, and enabling quick and simple connectivity to 3rd party detector and hub devices such as connecting our cutting-edge outdoor sensors to your standard indoor alarm, or connecting your existing outdoor beams to our Sms/Texting or voice warning panels.
4. Telemetry: Our expertise in RF and GSM (cell phone) security technologies have given us the leading edge to offer ‘via-cell-phone’ automation, monitoring, and management systems known as “telemetry devices”.
5. NEW & UNIQUE to WirelessAlert: Highest-Spec ‘managed’ (heartbeat) alarm system with fully integrated CCTV & DVR functions.  For the first time in the World and South Africa, WirelessAlert now allows you to easily install and manage a premium wireless alarm system with a 3G/ISDN enabled CCTV/DVR system. When the high-specification sensors detect and trigger an alarm condition; the control room (and end user – via the internet or 3G smartphone) can immediately review the recorded CCTV video recorded of the event.
