What is RelayAlert RT?

• With the RelayAlert RT, our already-impressive 300m RF/radio range between sensors and base units (ample for most homes) can be extended to twice or three times that distance
• This signal boost is sometimes necessary for small holdings, farms, industrial installations or buildings that have a lot of wireless-blocking steel and concrete
• The RelayAlert RT receives and (re)transmits RF/radio signals in order to:
  - repeat or boost a signal to provide greater distance and range between sensors and receivers,
  - to overcome physical barriers such as walls, steel hillocks,
  - in environments where low signal strength is measured, implementation of RT guarantees optimum radio signals to ensure wireless performance integrity. to make them as reliable as wired systems

How it works

• RT’s are a RF/radio receiver and transmitter connected together in such a way that the receiver constantly ‘listens’ for security coded WirelessAlert component transmissions, and then re-transmits the same code that it receives; effectively duplicating the transmission from its position
• ‘Installation’ simply requires plugging the unit into mains or solar power.
  An optional RT version is available that has detachable receiver/transmitter antennas – that can be connected to extension cables (allowing antennas to be placed to best advantage), or higher-powered antennas are available to extend the range even further.
