So TA-X’s solution?  Ridiculously simple but highly effective: TA-X takes any standard Cell Sim card, giving it advanced GSM/cell phone capabilities.

When you arm all or any zones (via the keypad, key ring fob – or via sms!), and an intruder is detected, TA-X calls you and others who need-to-know. When you answer, it verbally tells you (and others) that there’s a problem – you can even listen in through the earpiece – if intruders talk, you’ll actually hear them – and can choose to talk to them as though TA-X is an intercom!
