Sensors/Detectors

All WirelessAlert sensors and detectors are wireless/RF (radio frequency) – (we do also offer wired units on request).  We offer both DIY (8-bit/256 channel) and PRO (36-bit/4-billion channel fully supervised* rolling code) RF   This means they are quick and easy to setup and allow you to start with the basics and easily add to protection as your needs change.  It means you can use the different types in any combination in the same setup.

• Solar-Optical Beams and/or Microwave Beams on your perimeter
• Solar Dual Optic PIRs (microwave enhanced) in high-sensitivity outdoor areas
• VoiceAlert outdoor PIRs in open spaces
• Door/Window Contacts, Indoor PIRs and Smoke Detectors wherever you need them

By combining these detectors as and when you need them, you can perfectly customize a security solution to your exact needs; so that you invest a minimum amount on day one, but can easily upgrade as your needs and budget change.

All WirelessAlert sensors are encoded to link (via RF/radio connection) directly to all WirelessAlert Receivers and Security Hubs.

*”Supervised” RF means that the base unit is in constant dialogue with all of its sensors, checking status, battery condition and monitoring for any attempts at vandalism – regardless of whether or not they are armed; it will report irregularities.  This feature makes WirelessAlert’s Pro range as reliable as any wired system.

By utilizing our RT-radio booster/repeaters, the already impressive wireless performance and range between sensors and hubs (typically 300m) can be extended to suit your needs.

Alternatively, our sensors can easily be integrated to directly trigger your existing alarm panel.

* In the event you have existing, or prefer sensors from other manufacturer, that’s not a problem: You can use transmitters (see “Peripherals” under the Products section to learn more) and then integrate with our Receivers/Hubs.
